My son’s party was coming up in a few weeks, and my wife was going to throw a huge party for him. We invited about fifty people to this party, and about twenty of them were kids. I love kids just as much as the next guy, but I was a little worried when I heard how many of them were coming to my house. My main concern was what we are going to do to keep all of these kids, most of them under the age of eight, occupied for three hours. Normally the kids would just play with your kid’s toys, but my son was turning one, so his toys do not interest older kids very much. Just when I thought it was hopeless my wife came up with the idea to get an inflatable toy for the back yard. I thought this was great idea. Inflatable toys are great for kids of all ages, and even adults like to jump. The next thing that we had to decide on was which one of the inflatable toys we wanted to get for my son’s party.
We went to a store that rents inflatable toys to try to pick out one for my son’s party. I did not think it would be that hard, because most of the inflatable toys I have seen are very similar. However, when we arrived at the store we found that these inflatable toys came in many shapes and sizes. They had toys that looked like castles, houses, islands, pirate ships, and even toys with inflatable slides attached to them. These toys can be purchased for a very reasonable price, but my wife and I decided to rent one instead. We rented an inflatable toy that was 33’ long by 15’ wide for one day for $100. When we got home I took the large duffle bag out of my truck, and rolled it out onto the grass. Then I attached the large fan that came with the inflatable toy to a hose on the side of the pirate ship that we rented. After that I turned on the fan, and within five minutes we had a fully ballooned inflatable toy. When the kids arrived everyone was very excited to get in the pirate ship and jump around. The inflatable toy kept all of the kids occupied and having fun for the duration of my son’s party. The pirate ship was the best idea that my wife ever had, and the party went fabulously.
